Assign an Employee to Kiosk Terminal to Track Commissions
Use these steps to assign an employee to a kiosk terminal. This assigns the employee to all subsequent sales at this kiosk terminal, so a site can track the employee's performance, for example for commissions.
Note: This feature does not require any configuration in Patheon Portal.
- At the kiosk terminal, from any screen other than the idle screen, scan the employee's ID card barcode. A cashier icon appears in the top left corner of the screen for 5 seconds to indicate the employee is assigned.
- No further steps are necessary. The employee will be assigned as the cashier for all subsequent sales at this kiosk terminal.
- Important: If no employee is assigned to a kiosk, the cashier recorded for sales will be Kiosk User.
