Assign an Employee to Kiosk Terminal to Track Commissions


Use these steps to assign an employee to a kiosk terminal. This assigns the employee to all subsequent sales at this kiosk terminal, so a site can track the employee's performance, for example for commissions.

Note: This feature does not require any configuration in Patheon Portal.

  1. At the kiosk terminal, from any screen other than the idle screen, scan the employee's ID card barcode. A cashier icon appears in the top left corner of the screen for 5 seconds to indicate the employee is assigned.
  2. No further steps are necessary. The employee will be assigned as the cashier for all subsequent sales at this kiosk terminal.
  3. Important: If no employee is assigned to a kiosk, the cashier recorded for sales will be Kiosk User.
