"Invalid Barcode" Error when Scanning RFID Tag


An "Invalid Barcode" error is displayed after scanning an existing customer's RFID tag from the Sales panel of a cashier terminal.

Cause

The cashier terminal's Sales panel is not designed to scan and read RFID tag barcodes. This works as designed.

Resolve

  1. Navigate to the Customers panel.
  2. Scan the barcode. A dialog appears.
  3. Apply the customer's plan.

Prevent

Train site staff to always scan RFID tags from the Customers panel.
