Financial Report Tools

All Patheon paginated financial reports include an identical set of tools for navigating, viewing, printing, and exporting reports. The functions are located at the top of each paginated report.

Report Page Navigation

Use the header functions to navigate multi-page reports.

First Page

Select the first page function to open the first page in the report.

Previous Page

Select the previous page function to open the previous page in the report.

Enter Page

Manually enter a page number and select Enter to open it.

Next Page

Select the next page function to open the next page in the report.

Last Page

Select the last page function to open the last page in the report.

Report Page View

View the report similar to a web page; navigate multiple pages by scrolling up and down or navigate multiple pages using the page navigation functions in the header. By default, the page view navigation is selected.

Page

When selected, the page navigation functions (see above) must be used to navigate to the other pages in a generated report. When active, the function's icon displays multiple pages:

Scroll

Select the continuous scroll view function to continuously scroll up and down across multiple pages. When scroll navigation is selected, the function's icon displays a single page:

Report Page Zoom

Use these functions to increase or decrease the zoom for a generated report.

Decrease

Select the - (decrease) function to zoom out and decrease the display percent.

Manual

Select from standard zoom options, or manually enter a specific size %. Standard zoom options are:

  • 500%
  • 200%
  • 150%
  • 100%
  • 75%
  • 50%
  • 25%
  • Page Width
  • Whole Page

Increase

Select the + (increase) function to zoom in and increase the display percent.

Print

The Print function provides the ability to print all pages in a generated report. The print function opens a print dialog that can be used to select the printer, specify the pages to print (one page, multiple pages, or all), and the number of pages to print on a sheet, and then print the report To print just the currently selected page in a generated report, use the Print Page function (see below).

Print Page

The Print Page function provides the ability to print just the currently selected page in a generated report. The function opens a print dialog that can be used to select the printer, and then print the page. To print all pages in a generated report, use the Print function (see above).

Export

Selecting any of these options immediately downloads copy of the report in the corresponding file format. The export file name can't be edited before it's downloaded. If there's an existing export file for the file type in the download folder, subsequent export files are named TransactionReport (1), TransactionReport (2), etc. File names can be manually edited after the file is downloaded.

Export files are saved to the download location configured for the user's web browser. To determine the location or change it, open the web browser's settings.

PDF

Download a copy of the report in an Adobe .PDF file. The export file names are unspaced report titles and the export file type. The file name does not incorporate a date or time stamp.

Search

Use the search function to locate all instances of a search term in a generated report. Selecting the function opens the sidebar Search section.

Search results are listed in the tool, and can be selected to navigate to the instance in the report.

Full Screen

Select to display the report in full screen view. In full screen, the report viewer tools and parameters are accessible. In normal view, the icon looks like this:

Select the Full Screen function (see below) in the report viewer, or press Esc, to exit full screen view.
