Add Value to a Gift Card

Use these steps to add value to an existing gift card at a cashier terminal.

1. Log in to the cashier application.
2. Scan a previously activated gift card at the cashier terminal.
3. If the gift card still has a balance, an Apply Prepaid Card dialog with Cancel, Reload, and Apply functions opens.
4. If the gift card has no remaining balance, an Apply Prepaid Card dialog with Cancel and Reload functions opens.

1. Select Reload. The gift card sale item goes into the sale.

1. Tender the sale. The prepaid balance on the card is updated.
