Check a Gift Card Balance

Use these steps to check a gift card balance at a cashier terminal.

1. Log in to the cashier application.
2. Select Sales. The Sales panel opens.

1. Select Manual Entry. The Manual Entry dialog opens.
2. Select Activate Card Reader. The cashier terminal barcode scanner activates.
3. Scan the gift card barcode. The Code* field displays the gift card code. Alternatively, type the gift card code in the Code* field.
4. Select Barcode. The Manual Entry dialog closes and a Gift Card dialog opens, displaying the gift card code and current balance.
5. Select Close. The Gift Card dialog closes.
6. Select Cancel to close the dialog.
