Turn Off Semi-Attended Mode

Use these steps to turn off semi-attended mode for a cashier terminal in a semi-attended lane (SAL) or "Members Lane." It must be manually turned off from the terminal; semi-attended mode can't be turned off automatically based on a schedule.

If a site isn't busy, it can turn off semi-attended mode and place an attendant at the cashier terminal to upsell customers on plans and extra services.

Semi-attended mode must be enabled for the terminal in Patheon Portal for the function to appear on the HARDWARE panel.

 

  1. Log in to the cashier application.
  2. Select Hardware. The Hardware panel opens.
  3. In the Terminal section, set Semi-attended mode to Off.
