Tender a Sale to Gift Card

Use the following steps to tender a sale to a gift card.

1. Log in to the cashier application.
2. Select Sales. The Sales panel opens.

1. Add at least one product to the cart.
2. Select Gift Card. The Gift Card dialog opens.

1. Select Activate Card Reader and scan the gift card barcode, or manually enter the gift card code and select Submit. The sale is tendered by the gift card, the gift card balance is displayed in the dialog, and a receipt prints.

1. Select Close. The dialog closes.
