Configure a Retention Discount for Existing Discounted Plans on EWA

Use these steps to configure a retention discount in Patheon Portal for customers attempting to cancel their plan on the EWA, including plans that are already discounted.

1. Log In to Patheon Portal.
2. Select configuration.
3. Select Promotions. The promotions panel opens.
4. Select add promotion. The add promotion (1 conditions) panel opens.

1. In Trigger*, enter a name for the trigger, such as EWA Retention Offer.
2. In Trigger Type*, select Plan discontinuation.
3. In Message, enter the message to display when the discount is triggered. Note: To include customer or plan-specific information, select a message variable to insert it into the message.
4. Navigate to the conditions section.
5. Select Plans. The Plans options open.
6. Select the plan(s) that should trigger the discount.
7. Select Active discount. The Active discount options open.
8. Select Include plans that have active and pending discount periods.

1. Select continue. The add promotion (2 actions) panel opens.
2. Select Apply Discount. The Apply Discount options open.
3. In Discount name*, select the discount to apply.

1. Select continue. The add promotion (3 activation) panel opens.
2. In Status*, select Active.
3. Select save. The promotion details panel opens.
