Tender a Sale to Cash on a Tablet Terminal

Use these steps to tender a sale to cash at a tablet terminal. Note: The cash acceptance feature must be enabled for tablets. See Enable or Disable Cash Acceptance Feature for Tablets to enable the feature.  

1. Log In to a Tablet Terminal.
2. Select Sales. The Sales panel opens.
3. Add at least one product to the cart.
4. Select Cash. A Cash dialog opens with the amount due, for example, 19.00.
5. Enter the cash amount provided by the customer, for example, 20.00.
6. Select Enter. The Cash dialog closes, a receipt prints, and a new Cash modal opens with the amount tendered and change due, for example, Tendered: $19.00 and Change due: $1.00.
7. Hand the change and receipt to the customer, and close the cash drawer.
8. Select Close. The dialog closes.
