Patheon R59 Release Notes


Patheon release 59 includes the following enhancements:

  • In Patheon Portal, the panel names on the Configuration page's vertical menu are now visible when the section is minimized. This can improve navigation efficiency by reducing confusion or uncertainty.
  • Sites can now configure the inactivity period that automatically logs out a user at a cashier terminal. This flexibility can improve security, while accommodating different usage patterns to minimize disruptions for users.
  • Customers can now use the new Transaction Code Detected screen at kiosks to either continue with an active transaction identified by barcode, RFID, or license plate, or dismiss it to proceed with their current selection. This offers greater convenience for customers and enhances operational efficiency.
  • Staff can now view the last 4 digits of a customer's credit card information in the transactions section of the customer details panel on a cashier terminal. This can help improve record-keeping, and help wash staff provide enhanced customer support.
  • Customers can now redeem ticket books at all sites within an organization, even if the ticket book isn't available to be sold from that site. This can help increase ticket book sales and increase customer satisfaction, by providing greater flexibility and perceived value.
  • The gift card dialog on the cashier terminal now provides the gift card total, Code field, activate card reader function, cancel function, and submit function. This helps maintain a consistent user experience across terminals, reducing training needs.
  • The Barcode Scanned screen on kiosks has been updated to provide clearer instructions when customers with items in their cart scan a prepaid wash code. This helps reduce confusion and lowers the need for support.
  • The product titles and descriptions for the Data API and Transactional API unlimited tiers on the Products page have been updated for clarity. This helps customers better understand their options and how to get assistance for high capacity plans.

Enhancements

Data API

The product titles and descriptions for the Data and Transactional API unlimited tiers have been updated for better clarity

  • The Data API tier titles on the Products page have been updated from Data Unlimited + and Transactional Unlimited + to Data Unlimited Plus and Transactional Unlimited Plus, and the descriptions for both plus tiers now read: "Higher capacity tier available for select enterprise use cases. Talk to your rep to learn more, or hit subscribe and a team member will reach out to walk you through the next steps."

Patheon Portal

The left navigation menu in Patheon Portal now shows panel names even when it's collapsed

  • Staff can now view the panel name in the left navigation menu of Patheon Portal, even when the menu is collapsed.

POS - Cashier

Sites can now configure the length of time a cashier terminal is inactive before it automatically locks

The Customer Details panel now allows staff to view the last 4 digits of a customer's credit card

  • The last 4 digits of a customer's credit card are now visible to staff within the transactions section of the customer details panel on the cashier terminal.

The gift card dialog now includes additional components

  • The gift card dialog now provides the gift card total, the Code field, activate card reader function, cancel function, and submit function.

POS - Kiosk

Customers can now finalize active transactions on a kiosk through the new Transaction Code Detected screen

  • The new Transaction Code Detected screen lets customers choose to proceed with an active transaction detected via barcode, RFID, or license plate, or dismiss it to continue with their current selection. An active transaction is: an unpaid transaction with an active status; a paid transaction that includes at least one wash service and an unqueued vehicle; or a paid transaction with at least one wash service and a queued vehicle.

The Barcode Scanned screen on kiosks now features enhanced prompts for better customer guidance

  • When customers scan a prepaid wash code with other items in the cart, the Barcode Scanned screen now prompts the customer to select either redeem to replace their current selection with the prepaid wash, or dismiss to keep the existing cart item(s).

Ticket Books

Activated ticket books can now be redeemed by customers regardless of whether they are available for purchase at that specific site

  • Customers are now able to redeem activated ticket books even if those ticket books are not sold at the current site.

Resolved Issues

Gates

  • An issue with a second vehicle redeeming and passing through the gate before the first vehicle waiting in line has been resolved. 

Receipts

  • In previous releases, sales receipts were sometimes printed from kiosks without the customer selecting the Print Receipt button; this issue has now been resolved.
