Delete a Customer from Patheon Portal


Use these steps to permanently delete a customer in Patheon Portal. Customers who are house account or partner account owners, have an open transaction, or have an active plan cannot be deleted. Note that customers can also be deleted at a cashier terminal.

Note: The employee role permission, Portal>Customers>Customer tab access>Customer delete on portal controls the ability to delete a customer from Patheon Portal.

Warning: A deleted customer record can't be un-deleted or otherwise recovered.

  1. Log in to Patheon Portal
  2. Select configuration.

  1. Select Customers. The customers panel opens.

  1. Locate the customer to delete.
  2. Select the corresponding delete () function. A Permanently delete customer? dialog opens, stating "This action will permanently delete the customer's record and cannot be undone.".

  1. Select delete. The dialog closes and the customer record is deleted.
