Patheon R67 Release Notes


Patheon release 67 includes the following enhancements:

  • Staff can now void the most recent gift card purchase or top-up, if the card has not been used since it was paid for, automatically refunding paid amounts and removing related liabilities to quickly correct mistakes and keep financial records accurate. 
  • A responsive, permission-controlled send car function is now available on the wash queue panel on supported POS and tablet resolutions, helping staff keep vehicles moving safely and efficiently when tunnel loader hardware is unavailable. 
  • Insights 2.0 now opens to the Today dashboard by default and lets users view either single-site or All Sites performance, making it easier to monitor business-wide results from one screen. 
  • Insights 2.0 now accounts for voided gift card purchases and balance top-ups in gift card reporting, helping managers maintain more accurate liability totals, removed balances, and current gift card balances. 
  • Insights 2.0 now lets users select All Sites from the Home page and set it as the default view, making it easier to open the Today dashboard with a business-wide view across all available sites. 
  • Sites can now add a custom QR code and optional message to receipts to help drive customers to your website, app, rewards program, or other digital promotions. 
  • Sites can now use enhanced Patheon Portal tools to view, link, search, and manage multiple customer records connected to a single consumer account. 
  • Active vehicle transactions are now automatically recognized at attended lanes to reduce manual steps and speed up vehicle throughput.

Enhancements

Dashboards 

The Insights 2.0 Today dashboard now opens by default

  • Insights 2.0 now makes the Today dashboard the new home screen and adds support for viewing All Sites data in one place. Users with default sites will land on the dashboard filtered to those locations, while users without defaults will automatically see All Sites. When All Sites is selected, the dashboard updates key metrics and calculations, such as cars, revenue, dollar per car, plans sold, active vehicles, capture rate, and cars per labor hour, to use organization-level totals and formulas. Single-site views continue to work as they do today, giving users a smoother home experience and a faster way to monitor performance across the business.

The Insights 2.0 home page now support an All Sites default view

  • Insights 2.0 now includes an All Sites option on the Home page, giving multi-site operators a faster way to view combined performance across their business. When selected, All Sites open the Today dashboard in a cumulative view instead of filtering to a single location. Users can also save All Sites as their default selection, so the platform opens to a broader operational view automatically at login. The helps sites monitor same-day activity across all available sites more efficiently from one starting point.

Gift Cards

Staff can now void the most recent gift card balance increase

  • Staff can now void the most recent gift card balance increase, including an initial gift card purchase or the latest top-up, as long as that gift card has not been used for payment since that transaction. When a void is processed, the system creates and finalizes a matching void transaction and lets the user choose the refund method. The system will refund only the paid portion of the original transaction and will remove all liabilities created by that original gift card balance increase through corresponding balance events. This helps correct gift card mistakes more accurately while keeping gift card balances and financial records in sync.

POS - Tunnel Entrance

Automatically recognize and process active transactions at attended lanes 

  • An active transaction can now be automatically recognized and processed at attended lanes when the vehicle is identified by LPR, RFID, or supported barcode scans. If an unpaid active transaction is found, it is loaded into the cart so staff can quickly complete payment; if a paid active transaction is found, the vehicle can be processed and added to the wash queue automatically or through the finalization flow, depending on whether SAL mode is enabled. This helps support sales made away from the lane - such as on a tablet, in the office, or at a vac station - while reducing manual intervention at the lane entrance. Active cart sales are automatically released when a different recognized vehicle is detected, helping keep the attended lane moving smoothly. 

Receipts

Sites can add a custom QR code and optional message to receipts

  • A custom QR code section with an optional message can now be added to printed receipts, making it easier to direct customers to your website, mobile app, rewards program, or other digital destinations. This feature can be controlled in Patheon Portal by selecting the Print QR code and text on receipts checkbox. Configuration settings support both client-level defaults and site-level overrides. When enabled, the QR code and message print in a new section at the bottom of the supported receipt templates, and the section is automatically omitted if printing is turned off or both fields are left blank. 

Reports

Insights 2.0 gift card reporting now includes voided purchases and top-ups

  • Insights 2.0 reporting now accounts for voided gift card purchases and balance top-ups, helping to track gift card liabilities more accurately. Voided gift card activity is now reflected in historical reporting and dashboard calculations, including removed balances and bonus amounts, while the original purchase remains visible in reporting totals. Current gift card balances are also updated to exclude voided amounts so reports better reflect actual outstanding liability. 

Wash Queue Management

The send car function is now available on more POS and tablet screens

  • The send car function is now available on the wash queue panel across supported POS screen sizes, including smaller and tablet-style displays, so staff can send vehicles without relying on browser zoom workarounds. This improves backup operations when a tunnel loader or OTT is unavailable, giving wash operators more flexibility to manage the queue from the tunnel entrance area. Access to this capability is permission-based for safety, and users without the required permission will not see the wash queue panel.

Resolved Issues

Dashboards

  • An issue that could incorrectly calculate the Avg. Daily Rewash value on the mobile and desktop versions of the Insights 2.0 Rewash Analysis dashboard rather than correctly calculating Total Rewash divided by the number of days in the selected month, is resolved.
  • An issue that could prevent the member analysis dashboard date fields advancing beyond 09/12/2025, is resolved. 

Data Migration

  • An issue that could result in a site being assigned the same site number when duplicating an existing site, causing sales records to conflict instead of being unique to each location, is resolved.

POS - Cashier

  • An issue where removing a sale and then selecting mark complete on the active sales panel could cause the sale to remain visible and show an error if remove sale was selected again, instead of removing the sale from the screen, is resolved. 
  • An issue where a cashier terminal could automatically log out after 15 minutes even when inactivity logout was disabled, instead of staying logged in until the user logs out manually, is resolved. 

POS - Kiosk

  • An issue where a saved card payment could fail to finish processing after the internet connection came back, instead of completing successfully in the system, is resolved. 
  • An issue where selecting start over after selecting Credit Card for a wash or plan on the kiosk could show an Oops or Payment Cancelled screen and fail to print a receipt, is resolved. 

Receipts

  • An issue where rapidly selecting print receipt on the sales history panel could cause the printer to jam up and malfunction instead of allowing only one press within a set time to prevent rapid repeat prints, is resolved. 

Reports

  • An issue where many credit card types appeared as invalid or unknown on Patheon Portal reports showing credit card charges, instead of displaying a valid credit card type for all sales, is resolved. 

Wash Subscriptions

  • An issue where an auto-renewal unit plan could remain marked as active after the last unit was used, even though it had no card on file and did not reload or move to unpaid status, is resolved.
