Patheon R51 Release Notes
Patheon release 51 includes the following enhancements:
- Sites can now duplicate existing kiosk workflows. Organizations can use this to decrease the amount of time spent creating new workflows.
- The number of steps required to purchase a gift card from the EWA customer app is reduced. This can help reduce cart abandonment, increasing gift card sales and revenue.
- Sites can now export the Transaction V2 report in summary format. Sites can use this to reduce the amount of time spent generating an export of the report.
- Sites can now configure employee passwords to expire at a set interval (14-999 days) so they are required to be updated regularly. Organizations can use this to enhance security and help satisfy compliance requirements.
- A function is now available for cashier terminals and tunnel entrance terminals. Sites can use this to increase wash queue efficiency by reducing the amount of time it takes to clear the entire wash queue.
- Organizations can now prevent duplicate customer phone number entry by enabling customer phone number validation. When enabled, the entry of a duplicate phone number in Patheon Portal prompts the user to select the existing customer record or enter a different phone number. Organizations can use this to help improve data accuracy and reduce errors in customer information. Note: Contact DRB to enable or disable this feature.
- The customer search feature in Patheon Portal now includes the ability to search by a customer's full name or vehicle RFID tag. Sites can use this to decrease the amount of time it takes to locate a specific customer.
- Customer receipts can now be configured to include either the employee's first name and last name (e.g., John Smith), or first name and last initial (e.g., John S.). Sites can use this to provide employees with enhanced privacy and security.
- General bug fixes.

Availability

Enhancements
Customers
Customer management in Patheon Portal now includes the ability to prevent duplicate phone number entry
- If enabled, Patheon Portal checks for duplicate phone numbers when adding or editing a customer. If a duplicate phone number is entered, a Duplicate phone number notification opens below the phone field, and a Select an existing customer or enter a unique phone number prompt opens with the matching customer below it. Important: Contact DRB to enable or disable the customer phone validation feature.
Customer search in Patheon Portal now provides the ability to search for customers by full name
- Patheon Portal now supports the ability to search by a customer's full name when Name is selected for the search function.
Customer search in Patheon Portal now provides the ability to search for a customer by RFID
- Patheon Portal now supports the ability to search by a customer's RFID tag when RFID Number is selected for the search function.
Employees
Employee passwords can now be configured to auto-expire, so employees are required to update them regularly
- Sites can now enable (or disable) password expiration and configure the number of days passwords are valid for, for employees. When an employee's password is set to expire, a prompt notifies them when they log in to update their password.
Patheon Portal
Kiosk workflows can now be duplicated in Patheon Portal
- The flows list panel in Patheon Portal now includes a duplicate function that can be used to create a new workflow by duplicating an existing one.
POS - Customer App
The checkout process for purchasing a gift card on the EWA is streamlined
- The checkout process on the EWA has been enhanced to reduce the number of steps for purchasing a gift card by replacing it with a single-page form.
Receipts
Organizations can configure receipts to print either the employee's first name and last name or first name and last initial
- The Receipts panel in Patheon Portal now includes a Replace employee's last name with the initial setting. For example, if selected, employee John Smith, will be printed on receipts as John S; if not selected, John Smith will be printed on receipts.
Reports
The Accounting Export now includes a Transaction Summary export option and a Transaction Detail export option
- The Patheon Portal Accounting Export panel (Reports>Accounting Export) is enhanced to now provide a Transaction Summary export (a CSV export of the Transaction V2 Summary report) and a Transaction Detail export (a CSV export of the Transaction V2 Detail report).
Tunnel Controller Integration
A CLEAR WASH QUEUE function is now available on cashier terminals and tunnel entrance terminals
- Staff can now clear the entire wash queue by selecting from a cashier terminal or tunnel entrance terminal. Access to view and use the function is controlled by the employee role permission: POS>Wash Queue>Wash queue access.
