Patheon R55 Release Notes

Patheon release 55 includes the following enhancements:

  • Sites can now configure open-value discounts for use in transactions. Organizations can use this to help resolve customer issues and increase customer satisfaction, for example, to honor a competitor's discount.
  • Discount codes on the Enhanced Web App (EWA) that enable open-value discounts are prohibited. Organizations can use this to prevent excessive discounts and protect profitability.
  • Insights 2.0 now includes a Migrations dashboard that provides the following metrics related to plan migrations: plans migrated, plans reloaded, migrated plan churn, and current status of migrated unlimited plans.
  • Sites can now configure a new "Days since last promotion" condition to trigger during plan discontinuation. This ensures a specified number of days must pass before customers can accept a new promotion after their last one. Organizations can use this to help prevent customers from repeatedly switching plans to take advantage of promotional offers.
  • Sites can now manually update a customer's card-on-file when the card is not present. Sites can use this to help reduce churn, and improve the customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Sites can now create customer segments based on a customer's opt-in status. Organizations can use this to organize and filter customers with a enhanced segmentation.
  • Sites can now disable receipt printing on kiosks for transactions terminated by declined payments, or when a customer removes their payment card from the reader too soon. Organizations can use this to help reduce costs by reducing unnecessary receipt paper usage.
  • A 3-digit car # is now printed on pre-receipts and receipts for sales that contain a service. Cashier terminal staff can use the 3-digit number to quickly locate a sale from the Active Sales panel or Sales History panel.
  • Insights 2.0 now opens in a new web browser tab when selected from within Patheon Portal, rather than within Patheon Portal.

  • A 3-digit car number (between 100-999) is now assigned to any sale with a product that contains a service. The assigned code is displayed in the cart on cashier terminals; if the sale is released, a pre-receipt is printed with the car # on it, for example, Car #447, which can be used to recall the sale from the Active Sales panel. The 3-digit number is also printed on receipts, and can be used to search for completed sales from the Sales History panel.
