Patheon R60 Release Notes

Patheon release 60 includes the following enhancements:

  • Transactions at attended kiosk terminals that are tendered to a payment card will now automatically update the customer's name using the cardholder's name, improving record accuracy.
  • Staff using a tablet terminal can now take photos of vehicles. This feature improves accuracy and accountability at the point of sale.
  • Cashiers can now configure a customer's active Time-Based Auto Reload plan (e.g., monthly unlimited plan) to automatically switch to a different plan at their next renewal, streamlining plan management while ensuring eligibility criteria are met.
  • The cashier terminal wash queue panel now displays a vehicle's make, model, and color, providing attendants with clearer vehicle identification, improving operational efficiency and reducing errors by enabling faster and more accurate vehicle recognition.
  • The steps for saving vehicle retracts can now, optionally, only require one tap to temporarily assign a retract, and two taps to permanently assign a retract to a vehicle (or one tap to permanently assign a retract and two taps to temporarily assign a retract). This can help reduce accidental permanent retract assignments, improving retract accuracy. Important: Contact DRB for help configuring this.
  • Sites can now hide house account-specific washes at kiosk terminals, ensuring these washes are only selectable by a specific house account customer. This can improve sales accuracy and customer segmentation.
  • The Patheon Portal paginated Plan Analysis Report now includes a Grand Total row at the top, which matches the existing Total row at the bottom. This provides quicker access to overall summary data, improving report readability and efficiency.
  • The Patheon Portal code generation panel's default "No" selection for the redemption method is removed. This can help reduce accidental, incorrect code generation, minimizing the need to fix errors and improving overall data accuracy.
  • Customers without a phone number saved for their profile can now find and attach those records to their EWA account by providing alternative identifying information. This improves customer self-service capabilities and reduces support needs.
  • A new Cross-Site Usage dashboard is now available as part of the Insights 2.0 Plan Usage dashboard. It provides operators with a comprehensive view of redemption activity across all sites in their organization.
  • The following, existing Insights 2.0 dashboards are visually enhanced and refined for a consistent experience across dashboards: Operational Efficiency dashboards, Plan Analytics dashboards, and SW Historical dashboards.

House Accounts

House Account-specific washes can now be hidden on kiosks

  • Sites can now hide house account-specific washes from the POS and kiosk staff screens using the Show on POS and Kiosk Staff Screen setting in Patheon Portal. This ensures that house account customers can select their eligible washes without these options being available to regular customers. Note that if a house account is eligible for only one wash, it will be automatically selected, but if multiple washes are available, customers are prompted to choose on the kiosk.

Patheon Portal

The code generation panel on Patheon Portal has been updated

POS - Cashier

Sites can now configure plan-change deferments at a cashier terminal

POS - EWA Customer App

Customers can now link existing records without a phone number using alternative search options

  • Customers without an existing customer record linked to their EWA account can now search for and attach their records even if no phone number is available. When the advanced search feature is enabled on Patheon Portal, customers can choose to perform a manual search using alternative data points such as license plate number, last 4 digits of a credit card, RFID FastPass tags, and personal information like first and last name, country, and state/province. If multiple matches are found, the system uses plan status and name matching to select the most appropriate record. If no existing record matches, a new customer record is created using the provided data, and the customer is informed. Additionally, the primary phone number and name fields on the linked customer record are updated as needed to ensure accuracy.

POS - Kiosk

When a transaction is paid by credit card on an attended kiosk, any missing customer name will now be filled with the cardholder's name

  • When processing a credit card transaction for a known customer with a placeholder name on an attended terminal, the system will automatically update the customer's placeholder name with the actual cardholder name from the payment response. Placeholder names are identified by matching both the first and last names for kiosk and unknown placeholders, while for placeholders containing specific keywords, matching either the first or last name is sufficient to qualify as a placeholder and trigger the update, typically updating the last name.

POS - Tablet

Staff can now capture a vehicle photo with a tablet terminal

POS - Tunnel Entrance

The tap sequence for saving vehicle retracts is simplified

  • The tap sequence for saving vehicle retracts has been updated so that one tap temporarily saves a retract, and two taps permanently save it, reducing accidental permanent saves and improving control. Important: Contact DRB to enable or disable this feature.

Reports

The Plan Analysis Report now includes a Grand Total at the top

  • The Plan Analysis Report has been enhanced to display a Grand Total row at the very top, mirroring the total shown at the bottom of the report. This allows users to quickly see the overall summary without scrolling, making it easier and faster to review key data.

Wash Queue Management

The wash queue panel now shows the vehicle's make, model, and color

  • The wash queue panel on terminals now shows the vehicle's make, model, and color directly on the terminal, helping attendants quickly and accurately identify vehicles in the queue.

Resolved Issues

Dashboards

  • Instances where the Insights 2.0 Liabilites dashboard could display over usage for prepaid used transactions, is resolved.
  • Instances where the Insights 2.0 Sales Insights dashboard's Plan Wash Statistics didn't include a GiftCard Contra Discounts section and revenue could be incorrect for plans, is resolved.

Payments

  • Sales that could be approved by WorldPay, but not visible in Patheon, is resolved.

Tax

  • A wash plan change and/or sale that could cause tax to apply when no tax is configured to apply, is resolved.

Wash Queue Management

  • A wash queue issue that could degrade system performance and require an appliance restart, is resolved.
  • A double-scan of the same prepaid card code at an attended sale terminal that could cause the vehicle to keep getting placed at the end of the wash queue, is resolved.

Wash Subscriptions

  • A wash plan renewal issue that could cause a successfully reloaded wash plan to expire, is resolved.
