Patheon R65 Release Notes

Patheon release 65 includes the following enhancements:

  • Sites can now assign RFID tags using a barcode scanner on the plan details panel of a cashier terminal without having to select any extra functions, speeding up vehicle check-in and plan sales.
  • Sites can now use alphanumeric employee usernames in Patheon Portal. This makes staff management and login recognition simpler.
  • Sites can now associate a vehicle with a non-plan sale directly from attended cashier terminals so every purchase can be tied to a vehicle and retained for future selling, promotions, and analytics.
  • Claim check receipts can now automatically be printed from attended cashier terminals whenever an open sale containing a service with the new service-level Claim Check option enabled is paid in full. This can help reduce disputes and fraud, as well as speeding up operations and improving throughput at attended cashier terminals by removing manual steps to issue claim checks.
  • A new store and forward (SAF) badge now opens on the tunnel loader's wash queue panel whenever the device is in SAF mode or has pending transactions awaiting reconciliation, which speeds up troubleshooting and reconciliation by clearly showing when transactions are waiting to be sent.
  • The Insights 2.0 multi-site dashboard now includes metrics for unlimited plans lost, reload revenue $$, and total revenue.
  • The Insights 2.0 Rewash Analysis dashboard now features scrollable, labeled bar charts for Rewash Count by Reason and by Wash Product and a Top 5 Employee Rewash Count with corresponding detail tables.
  • Sites can now use photos captured on tablet terminals during a sale as the vehicle image displayed in the wash queue and active sales panels, with the most recently taken photo always taking precedence. This helps provide faster, more accurate vehicle identification on the wash line, reducing hold-ups and improving throughput.
  • Bolt wired and wireless card readers will now automatically clear the "Approved" message after a successful CardPointe/CardConnect attended transaction. This makes it immediately clear to customers that the sale is complete.

Enhancements

Dashboards

The Insights 2.0 multi-site dashboard has been updated to include new metrics

  • The multi-site dashboard has been refreshed to include these new metrics: unlimited plans lost, reload revenue $$, and total revenue. The site table now includes Site Code plus a shortened Site Name (hover to view the full name) and adds per-site columns for ended plans, reload revenue, and total revenue with simple up/down arrows showing change versus the previous period.

The Insights 2.0 Rewash Analysis dashboard now features scrollable, labeled bar charts

  • The charts on the rewash analysis dashboard have been redesigned so users can actually read and act on the data when there are a lot of employees, products, or reasons. The new, scrollable bar charts show "Rewash Count by Reason" and "Rewash Count by Wash Product" with counts displayed on each bar and a simple Show Detail toggle that swaps the chart for a clear table (reason/product, rewash count, and percentage of rewashes). A new "Top 5 Employee Rewash Count" view highlights the five highest employees (with everyone else grouped as "Other") and also offers a table view for full detail. These changes make it much faster to spot trends, identify problem areas, and prioritize coaching or process fixes.

Patheon Portal

Employee usernames can now be alphanumeric

  • Sites can now use alphanumeric employee usernames in Patheon Portal. The Username field on the employees panel now accepts letters and digits so managers can assign clear, human-readable usernames for any role instead of system-generated numeric values. DRB Admins will be able to set limits on the number of Data and Transactional API machines a client can register to help control daily auth-token generation.

Payments

Bolt wired and wireless card readers automatically clear "Approved" message

  • Bolt wired and wireless card readers will now automatically clear the "Approved" message after a successful CardPointe/CardConnect attended transaction, returning the user to its idle screen. This makes it immediately clear to customers that the sale is complete and the device is ready for the next payment. The change is handled automatically in the background; staff do not need to manually reset the reader after a sale.

POS - Cashier

Sites can now assign RFID tags by scanning directly into the plan details panel of the cashier terminal

  • Sites can now assign RFID tags by simply scanning with a barcode scanner on the plan details panel of the cashier terminal without having to select extra functions. When editing a vehicle, a clear function displays next to an existing RFID value to remove it, and if a vehicle's RFID field is empty a scan automatically fills that field. During a new plan sale a scanned code will populate the single empty vehicle on the page, or the first empty vehicle from the top if there are multiple; if no empty vehicle exists the system will add a new vehicle and fill its RFID when the form allows, otherwise the scan is ignored. This reduces cashier steps and helps improve lane throughput and customer flow.

Sites can now associate vehicles from non-plan sales directly on cashier terminals

  • Sites can now associate a vehicle with a non-plan sale directly from attended cashier terminals so every purchase can be tied to a vehicle and retained for future selling, promotions, and analytics. While on the sales panel, staff can look up customers in a vehicle-per-row grid (searchable by license plate [default], name, phone, RFID, or card on file), associate an existing vehicle, or create a new vehicle (the LP is prefilled). If no customer exists an "Unknown Unknown" customer and a vehicle record will be auto-created. Assigned vehicles can be removed when needed, except for vehicles that were system-recognized, and assigning a vehicle before adding a plan will prefill LP and plan information to speed up plan sales; if the selected vehicle already has an active plan the Apply Plan dialog gives options to Cancel, Assign Only, or Apply. Tablet users benefit from inline vehicle creation and optional vehicle photo capture (photo can be attached to the transaction, queued vehicle, and vehicle profile).

POS - Tablet

Tablet-captured sale photos now show in the wash queue and active sales panels

  • Photos taken on a tablet during a sale will now automatically appear as the vehicle photo in the wash queue and active sales panels, so staff can use those images for vehicle recognition. If multiple photos exist, the most recently taken photo will take precedence and be shown. This helps reduce mismatches, speeds vehicle identification at the point of service, and gives staff a clear, up-to-date image for operations and record keeping.

POS - Tunnel Entrance

The tunnel loader wash queue panel now displays an SAF indicator

  • A new SAF indicator now appears on the tunnel loader wash queue panel when the EMV reader is in SAF mode or has transactions pending reconciliation. The SAF badge displays only while the device is in SAF or holding transactions, making it easy for staff to see payment connectivity issues at a glance. Important: CardConnect EMV Store-and-Forward must be enabled.

Receipts

Claim Check receipts can now be automatically printed from attended terminals

  • Automatic Claim Check receipts can now be printed when open sales that include claim-check-eligible services are paid in full, giving customers a printed proof to claim their vehicle. Administrators can enable this feature using a new receipt option on each service with a new Print Claim Check checkbox. Claim checks print only from attended terminals when a sale includes a service with the claim-check option enabled. Each receipt includes the site's wash logo and standard header, terminal name, date/time, sale ID, employee ID, the title "CLAIM CHECK", an itemized list of products and prices, vehicle license plate and car number; eligible product types are wash, a la carte, and interior.

Resolved Issues

Data API

  • An issue where several API endpoints could take longer than 10 seconds, causing poor request performance, is resolved.

Data Migration

  • An issue where the Standard/Delta Initial Migration Job's Data Validation export omitted CustomerPlans mapping and counts could cause DMS to be unable to review and audit expected plan mapping and import counts, is resolved.

Payments

  • An issue where COF expirations not being updated from Moneris Go Direct responses could cause customer card expirations to default to 3 years after the card's expiration date instead of reflecting the card's actual expiration date, is resolved.

POS - Cashier

  • An issue where activating the payment terminal to scan magnetic-stripe non-financial (gift) cards on cashier terminals could allow an unsupported, untested workflow and cause errors or misuse, is resolved.

POS - Kiosk

  • An issue where an IM30 terminal could report "approved" while the kiosk displayed a "Transaction Error" message, causing the kiosk not to advance to the receipt step, is resolved.
  • An issue where kiosk flow text fields being left-aligned instead of centered could cause user interface misalignment and a poor user experience, is resolved.

Receipts

  • An issue where discontinue receipts could stop printing automatically and cause customers to not receive a printed receipt when discontinuing a plan, is resolved.

Wash Subscriptions

  • An issue where plans could expire one day after their ManualEndDate, causing transaction errors and preventing customers from redeeming their plans, is resolved.
