Enhancements
Dashboards
Loyalty program performance can now be reviewed in the Loyalty Overview dashboard
- Patheon now includes a new Loyalty Overview dashboard in Catalyst, available from the new Customer Analytics section in Insights 2.0 navigation. The dashboard provides a high-level view of loyalty health, including overall engagement, the percentage of active customers earning and redeeming points over the past 30 or 90 days, average points earned and redeemed per active customer, and total outstanding points for liability tracking. Users can filter loyalty data by date range and site to better understand where loyalty activity is occurring. The dashboard also includes points activity over time, points earned, points redeemed, net points change, top loyalty customers by points earned, redeemed, or current balance. This gives operators a centralized view of loyalty performance so they can monitor engagement trends, identify high-value customers, and make more informed program decisions.
Discounts
Plan discounts can now be configured to apply to only the first vehicle or to all vehicles
- Sites now have more control over how plan discounts are applied to multi-vehicle plans, making it easier to support family plan promotions, plan consolidations, and other discounted pricing scenarios. When configuring fixed or flexible reload discount actions, managers can choose whether the discount adjustment applies only to the first vehicle on the plan or to all vehicles, with all vehicles selected by default. For flexible reload discounts, vehicle eligibility can be configured separately for each discount period, giving operators more precise control over how discounts are applied over time. The selected eligibility is saved with the discount configuration, synced to sites, and visible in discount details and in the Plan Discounts section of the Customer details panel. When a plan discount is applied manually or automatically during a plan sale, added to an active plan, or used during plan operations such as reloads, adding or removing vehicles, termination refunds, and plan transfer refunds, Patheon now uses the configured vehicle eligibility when calculating charges and refunds across recurring payments, Patheon Portal, cashier terminals, EWA, and the transactional API.
POS - EWA Customer App
Customers can now claim shared gift and prepaid cards by code
- The EWA now supports adding shared gift cards and prepaid cards from the Manage page. Customers can add a gift card to My cards or a prepaid code to My washes by entering the card's generated code. The code must be valid, case-sensitive, redeemable, not expired, have remaining funds or uses, and allow transfer. When the card is successfully added, it is linked to the customer who claimed it and unlinked from the original owner. Customers can also use the button on gift card or prepaid card details to allow the item to be transferred. To keep account balances accurate, customers will only see gift cards and prepaid cards that belong to them, were purchased by them and have not been linked to another customer, are not expired, and still have remaining funds or uses.
POS - Kiosk
Kiosks can now print gift and prepaid card codes when a dispenser is unavailable
- When this feature is enabled, kiosks can complete gift card and prepaid card sales by printing a generated barcode on the receipt instead of dispensing a physical card. This applies when the kiosk does not have a card dispenser, the dispenser is not configured or disabled, or the dispenser returns a disconnected, error, or offline status. Codes are generated at the time of sale and are 12-character alphanumeric codes that include the site ID as the first four characters to help prevent duplicates. If a dispenser is available and working, the kiosk will continue to use the dispenser as expected. If the dispenser is unavailable, the kiosk will automatically print the gift or prepaid code and will not show the Card Dispenser error screen, helping prevent unnecessary delays for customers. The barcode receipt includes the generated code, a readable text version of the code, and instructions for redeeming it as a gift card or prepaid wash units. If both the printer and card dispenser are unavailable, the gift/prepaid card sales option is disabled and the kiosk displays a message directing the customer to press the button for assistance. Gift and prepaid barcode receipts can also be reprinted from the sales history panel when needed, with access controlled by a new permission: Reprint Purchased Gift or Prepaid Card Code. Users with Edit permission can reprint the full receipt set, including the barcode receipt, while users with None permission can reprint only the standard sale receipt information without the gift or prepaid barcode. This helps sites recover lost or damaged receipts while reducing the risk of misuse.
Kiosks can now offer gift cards as upsells during plan redemption
- Patheon now supports gift card upsells in Promotion Flows, allowing site configurators to add eligible gift card products to an Upsell screen. On the kiosk, customers redeeming a time-based plan can add a gift card as part of the same transaction, including flows where they have also selected eligible add-ons such as a la carte items, a wash upgrade, or an instant prepaid item. To help prevent confusing or unsupported, configurations, Patheon includes new validation in the Patheon Portal promotion flow setup. Gift cards cannot be configured as upsells when the Product Selection trigger already includes a gift card, and gift card product selections are not available as triggers when the upsell already includes a gift card. Conditional navigation is also not available for gift card upsell configuration. Open-priced and complimentary gift cards, prepaid cards as upsells, ticket book redemptions, and older upsell configurations are not included.
Products
Prepaid washes and gift cards can now be sold together as bundled EWA offers
- Patheon now supports bundled items for prepaid wash and gift card products in Patheon Portal and the EWA. Site owners and managers can add one bundled item to an eligible prepaid or gift card product, and the bundled item can also be a prepaid wash or gift card. Complimentary gift cards are not supported for bundles. The bundled item can be added or removed from the main product configuration, and the bundled item's name is shown on the main product's detail page so staff can see what is included. In the EWA, customers can see now eligible bundled items when viewing a prepaid wash or gift card product, helping them understand what they will receive before purchasing. When a customer buys a product that has an active bundled item, the bundled item is automatically added to the purchase. The order summary displays both item names and correctly reflects the subtotal, total, discounts, and taxes, including any automatic discounts configured for carts with those specific items. If the bundled item is not active for the customer's selected home site or the physical site associated with the purchase, the bundled item is not displayed or added, and the main item is sold normally as a single item.
Interior products can now be included in TBAR plans for full-service memberships
- Patheon now supports adding fixed-price interior products as additional products when configuring a time-based automatic renewal (TBAR) plan. A wash is still required for the plan, but managers can now include eligible interior products alongside existing additional a la carte products, with each product type displayed in its own section during setup. Patheon also helps prevent configuration issues by showing an inline error when selected a la carte and interior products include the same service, and by warning users when an interior product is bundled with a different wash than the wash selected for the plan. Saved interior products are stored as part of the TBAR plan configuration and are displayed correctly when the plan is reopened. TBAR plans that include interior products can be purchased through cashier terminals, kiosks, Patheon Portal, and the EWA. When the purchase is completed successfully, Patheon activates the plan with the configured wash and interior product entitlements, calculates pricing, taxes, fees, and totals correctly, and displays the plan information in transaction details and purchase confirmation areas. On kiosks, purchase and redemption receipts include the plan contents and redeemed interior product details, and claim check receipts print when enabled for the included services. In the EWA, customers can see the interior services included in a plan before and after purchase, including on available plan cards, plan detail modals, and active plan cards on the Manage page. This makes it easier for customers to understand the full value of a membership and helps operators offer full-service plan options with a higher average ticket price.
Receipts
Plan signatures can now print on purchase receipts
- Patheon can now include a customer's digitally captured signature on plan purchase receipts when signature printing is enabled. If a signature is provided during a plan purchase, the signature will print in the appropriate Signature section of both customer and merchant receipt copies. The signature will also appear when a plan purchase receipt is reprinted from the sales history panel, helping staff reproduce complete signup documentation when needed. This applies to receipts for cashier terminals, kiosks, members lane, tablet, and Patheon Portal receipts. A new Patheon Portal customization setting is available to turn signature printing on or off, giving sites control over whether digitally provided signatures are included on printed plan receipts.
Reports
Open cash periods now appear in the XPT Cash Audit report
- The XPT Cash Audit Report now includes both closed and open cash periods when they match the selected date range and filter criteria. Closed cash periods continue to display finalized values as they do today, while open cash periods appear in a new Open Cash Periods section with estimated current cash values based on event-based cash movement, such as cash accepted and dispensed. The report also includes a separate Closed Cash Periods section, making it easier to distinguish finalized, reconciled activity from ongoing cash activity. Open period rows use the same columns and organization as closed periods, grouped by site, terminal, device, and cash period, and are available in both Detail and Summary versions of the report. This gives sites better visibility into the amount of cash currently in kiosks, helping with same-day accounting and reducing the need to estimate entries before cash periods are closed.
Resolved Issues
Data Migration
- An issue where bill cycles were not marked complete during data migration when SiteWatch reloads were enabled, causing Patheon to continue attempting to reload customers even after eligible reloads were captured, is resolved.
Patheon Portal
- An issue where selecting View Receipt for a customer's recent plan reload sale in Patheon Portal could open a cloud receipt page with a 400 error is resolved.
- An issue where new employee records could not be created in Patheon Portal even when all required fields were completed correctly is resolved.
POS - Kiosk
- An issue where kiosks could automatically log out after 15 minutes even when inactivity logout was disabled is resolved.
- An issue where kiosks could intermittently get stuck on the Please Pull Forward screen after a sale, even when no other gate was up, is resolved.
- An issue where kiosks could go out of service because gate or peripheral services went offline and did not recover until the services were restarted is resolved.
Reports
- An issue where some WorldPay membership purchase charges could appear in WorldPay reporting but not be reflected in Patheon transaction reports, credit card reports, or the customer record is resolved.
