Patheon R46 Release Notes
Patheon release 46 includes the following enhancements:
- Email and text message customer transaction notifications are now available as a standard feature for all Patheon systems. Engage plan members and reduce churn with auto-generated text and email messages to plan members, including new member welcome messages, plan renewal reminders, failed renewal notifications, and successful plan renewal receipts.
- Permissions to, and for functions within, the Customers panel in Patheon Portal are expanded to provide sites with greater control over an employee's ability to view, add, edit, and/or delete certain customer information, including vehicles, payment cards, plans, and more, in Patheon Portal.
- Permissions to, and for functions within, various Patheon Portal and cashier terminal panels are now organized and grouped by corresponding panel.
- The cashier terminal now includes a function for cashless sites to properly close and record a $0 sale.
- When applying changes to a product or plan for multiple sites in Patheon Portal, a message now states that ineligible sites are disabled.
- Sites can now configure Time-Based Auto Reload (TBAR) plans to auto-switch to another plan configuration at the next renewal.
- Sites can now create custom reason values for rewashes, refunds, and plan terminations, which can be selected and recorded from a cashier terminal; custom plan termination reasons are also available to a site's customers from the Essential Web App (EWA) customer app.
- Customers can now purchase a time- or unit-based manual renewal plan with cash at a kiosk terminal.
- General bug fixes.

Enhancements
Employees
Employee permissions can now be configured for the Customers panel in Patheon Portal
- Permissions for the various functions available in the Customers panel in Patheon Portal are now configurable.
Employee role permissions are now grouped by panel
- Employee role permissions for functions in the same panel are now grouped together; POS panels include Wash Queue access, Sales access, Sales History access, Active Sales access, Hardware access, Customer account access, and Cash balance access, and Patheon Portal panel includes Customer tab access.
Patheon Portal
When applying changes to a product or plan for multiple sites in Patheon Portal, a message now states that ineligible sites are disabled
- Ineligible sites either have an inactive status, and/or don't have the plan item(s). For a product, the message states, "Sites with an inactive status have been disabled." For a plan, the message states, "Sites that have an inactive status and/or do not have any plan items configured have been disabled."
POS - Cashier
A COMPLETE TENDER function is now available for cashless sites

Wash Subscriptions
Auto-generated email and SMS text customer transaction notifications are now available
- Email and SMS text message customer transaction notifications provide auto-generated email and/or SMS text messages to plan members, including new member welcome messages, plan renewal reminders, and successful plan renewal receipts.
Wash customers can now purchase time- or unit-based manual renewal plans with cash from a kiosk terminal
- When a time- or unit-based manual renewal plan is added to the cart, the payment options can now include cash (if Payment with Cash is enabled for the flow), as well as payment card and/or gift card; auto-renewal plans only offer payment card as a tender option. Important: Manual renewal plans can't be renewed; they can only by discontinued, suspended, or terminated. After a manual renewal plan ends, the customer must purchase a new plan.

Sites can now create custom reasons for rewashes, refunds, and plan terminations
- In addition to the standard reason values provided for a rewash, refund, and plan termination with a Patheon system, sites can now create their own custom reasons for rewashes, refunds, and plan terminations. Important: Custom plan termination reasons can also be selected by the site's EWA customer app users when they terminate their plan from the app.
