Patheon R66 Release Notes

Patheon release 66 includes the following enhancements:

  • Staff can now go through a confirmation dialog where they can select a termination reason for Time-Based Auto Reload (TBAR) and Time-Based Manual Reload (TBMR) plans, as well as review or adjust prorate refund options before adding the transaction to the cart. This makes the plan termination process more consistent for staff and makes it easier to handle different termination scenarios in one place.
  • A new Start Over option is now available on the kiosk credit card screen for CardConnect sites, reducing failed or stuck payment attempts.
  • Staff can now print specific receipts on demand from cashier terminals so they can quickly replace lost or failed receipts.
  • Staff can now add, remove, and print sale notes on pre-receipts from a cashier terminal using site-configured or custom messages so they can clearly communicate important service instructions to staff and customers.
  • Sites can now duplicate existing promotion flows from the promotional flows panel in Patheon Portal, making it faster and easier to create new seasonal or campaign variations from a proven setup.
  • Obsolete links have been removed from Insights 2.0 dashboards, helping to speed up load times and making it quicker for staff to access needed reports.
  • Customers can now input their phone number and SMS consent just before payment so the checkout flow feels more natural, improves opt-in conversion, and automatically creates or updates the customer record when needed.
  • The kiosk credit card expiration screens now display key customer and vehicle details and include a Not my account reset option to help prevent abandoned sessions from causing account, plan, or payment misassignment for the next customer.
  • Staff can now clear a session when a customer or vehicle was automatically recognized through license plate detection, allowing staff to quickly correct an incorrect automatic customer assignment without having to complete a sale or perform a full session reset.

Enhancements

Dashboards

Obsolete links have been removed from Insights 2.0 dashboards

  • Staff will now see faster-loading Insights 2.0 dashboards as obsolete links have been removed from the plan analytics and financial outlook dashboards, helping reduce delays when accessing reports.

Patheon Portal

Sites can now duplicate existing promotion flows from the promotional flow panel

  • Staff with the Configure client kiosk permission set to edit can now duplicate existing promotion flows , making it easier to reuse proven setups for seasonal or campaign-specific promotions. The duplication process can be started from the promotional flow panel in Patheon Portal, and both active and inactive kiosk flows can be copied. After duplication, the system opens the new flow in the create flow panel with a name like Copy + time stamp, assigns it the lowest priority, and does not copy site assignments. The cloned flow is not published by default: it will appear as Draft if required fields are missing or Ready to publish if the required information is complete, and the Publish option will stay disabled until sites are selected.

POS - Cashier

Staff can now add sale notes to a transaction from a cashier terminal

Staff can now remove a customer assigned to a sale by the LPR system

  • Staff can now clear a session from the sales panel when a customer or vehicle was automatically recognized  through license plate or RFID detection. If staff select the X to remove that recognized customer or vehicle, the system displays a warning message explaining that the assignment was made by the system. Staff can then select cancel to keep the current customer and session, or proceed to clear both the customer and the session. This update makes it easier to correct unwanted automatic assignments without needing to complete a sale.

POS - Kiosk

A Start Over option is now available on the kiosk credit card screen

  • When a kiosk is on the credit card screen and the payment processor is CardConnect, a new Start Over option appears so staff or customers can cancel the current payment terminal transaction and begin again; for other processors, the option does not appear.

Customers can now be prompted to input their phone number and SMS consent for Catalyst just before payment

The kiosk credit card expiration screens have been updated to help prevent account mix-ups in the lane

  • The Card Expiration Warning screen now displays more customer-specific details and help prevent account mix-ups in the lane . These screens can now display the customer's vehicle photo (or a placeholder if not photo is available), customer name, vehicle year/make/model, license plate or RFID, and a masked credit card number when that information is available. The updated layout makes it easier for customers to confirm the account on screen is actually theirs before taking action. Customers can also select the update card function to go directly to the Credit Card Payment screen and update the card on file, dismiss to continue with redemption when allowed, or Not my account to return to the Welcome screen, reset the session, and clear the RFID cache for a clean start.

Receipts

Staff can now print specific receipts on demand from cashier terminals

  • Staff can now print specific receipts on demand from a cashier terminal when eligible, including pre-sale and paid sale receipts in the active sales panel and claim check in the sales history panel . This gives staff a quick way to replace lost receipts or recover from printing issues like paper jams or hardware failures. Claim check reprints are controlled by permission, and all on-demand receipts print only once instead of following the usual Patheon Portal print quantity settings.

Wash Subscriptions

Staff can now complete plan terminations on the sales panel of a cashier terminal

  • Staff can now go through a confirmation dialog for TBAR and TBMR plans  where they can select a termination reason, and if eligible, review or adjust prorate refund options before adding the transaction to the cart. The termination will then be completed on the sales panel, where staff can finish a refund, complete a $0 transaction, or collect payment if a termination fee applies. For TBMR plans, staff can also choose whether to refund unused paid periods, and the cart will show the termination-related line items that cannot be removed. Staff with limited permissions can still start the process, but refund actions may require authorization before the refund is finalized.

Resolved Issues

Patheon Portal

  • An issue where promotional screen names exceeding 25 characters could prevent saving and freeze the Patheon Portal session, is resolved.

Payments

  • An issue where partially approved transactions could still be completed without requiring an additional tender, causing the sale to proceed for more than the approved amount, is resolved.

POS - Kiosk

  • An issue where selecting Gift Card payment and then "swipe card" on Worldpay/Moneris kiosks could cause the kiosk to return to the welcome screen and lock up instead of prompting for a card swipe, is resolved.
  • An issue where setting an ending balance could leave the kiosk navigation enabled and prevent setting a starting balance, causing cash balance entries to share the same starting date, is resolved.

Wash Queue Management

  • An issue where the Patheon Portal database could show Added to Wash Queue as false for a wash that was successfully added to the queue, causing inconsistent data compared with the POS, is resolved.
